Credit Based Amenity Booking

Real estate operators frequently provide ‘Credits’ to their tenants, which can be used to access shared facilities. We’ve observed coworking operators implementing this for shared meeting spaces among members, while residential property managers utilize it for amenities such as laundry facilities.

Given the rapid increase in usage of these new-age business practices, we have now built a comprehensive “Credit Management System” that allows operators to assign credits to their tenants, and in turn tenants use these credits to book common amenities and facilities by redeeming these credits from their mobile app!

Why did we prioritize building this feature?

Let’s consider a scenario: Tenant Tom is assigned a hot desk in a co-working space and decides to book a conference room from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM on 7th March 2024. On the surface, this seems harmless, but it poses a significant challenge:

  1. The potential for overbooking of common shared amenities: When one tenant monopolizes an amenity for an extended period, it restricts access for others, leading to inefficiencies in space utilization.

But can tenants be told not to use amenities? Can they be told that they are booking an amenity without any reason? NO

Factors like Revenue Potential and length of occupancy come into play when deciding what type of contract to manage. However, keeping track of this can be a challenging process.

How can this be solved?

Property managers and Operators need to help tenants understand the value behind the amenity.

Our system allocates credits to contracts that tenants can utilize throughout their lease term or a monthly basis. This approach educates each tenant on the benefits of using credits wisely, promoting a culture of accountability and equitable access within the property.

Tenants use the “Tenant Mobile App” to book the amenity. On booking an amenity, the number of credits they have keeps reducing.
